Last year we launched a program to raise money for some much needed and necessary emergency repairs to our church. This program was named "Nehemiah Renewal Plan". This program was successful and enabled us to replace the roof, repair the ceiling and decaying walls, and so much more.   We still have some things which need to be done. Our work is not finished and we must continue our efforts to get our church structure and properties repaired.   On the first Sunday of November (11/06/11) we kicked off another pledge drive, "Nehemiah Renewal Plan II".

Our focus, this time will be on the following:

1. Repairing the chapel floor.
2. Grading and resurfacing our parking lots.
3. Replacing our sound system.
4. Upgrading the electrical wiring.
5. Cleaning the facade of the church structure.

Our last pledge drive had (28) members to pledge and pay $1,000.00. Out of these (28) members, seven went above and beyond and paid even more.   Last year approximately 40% (62 out of 155) of the members participated; 60% of our members didn't pledge or pay anything. We need your support.

Each member is asked to pledge $1,000.00. We need at least (100) members to step up and meet this pledge. We are also asking for each member that can't pay $1,000.00 to please pay what you can or increase the amount you pledged on the last drive.   We are hoping this time to get 80% participation. This will allow us to get much of the mentioned work accomplished.

Remember 30% of your pledge goes towards your 2012 Conference claims.
